The Appleton Electric C58 is a 1-1/2 inch FM8 Grayloy-iron Unilet Type C conduit outlet body designed for use in Class I Div 2 hazardous locations. The body is made of Grayloy iron with a triple-coat finish (zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat) in gray color, while the cover screw is stainless steel and the gasket is neoprene. Measuring 10.38 inches in length, 2.78 inches in width, and 2.78 inches in height, the outlet body has a capacity of 42.5 cubic inches and features two straight hubs with side access opening. It is suitable for use with rigid and IMC conduit, and is approved to UL 514A/B and CSA C22.2 standards. The C58 is designed for commercial, industrial, hazardous, and wet location applications, and complies with NEC, CEC, and NEMA FB-1 standards.
